We are seeking a warehouse associate primarily as a shipper to work inside our very busy Distribution Center in the Dallas area. Our company has been in existence for over fifteen years, and we have warehouses in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, and Weslaco.
Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:
Shipping boxes via FedEx, UPS, DHL, and other carriers.
Create BOL’s when necessary.
Entering data into customer & carrier portals.
Communicate with customers via email.
Box overpack items.
Shrink wrap / band items on pallets.
Conduct Cycle Couts when necessary.
Requirements for Candidate:
Must be able to legally work in the United States.
Speak English. Bilingual is a plus.
Have your own reliable transportation. Mass transit not included.
Ability to type at least 30 wpm. 10-Key a plus.
Be detailed oriented.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Have some working knowledge with outlook and other Microsoft Office products.
Candidate will be paid as an Independent Contractor for the first 90 days @ a rate of $16.00 / hour. After the first 90 days, we will convert the Candidate to a permanent employee at a rate of $17.00 / hour or the Candidate can stay an Independent Contractor at a rate of $17.00 / hour.
Medical benefits and PTO will be offered after the Candidate completes the 90-Day Probationary period after converting to an employee status.
The shift is 09:00 – 17:30 with a 30-minute lunch break.
