Who knows where our shared journey will take you?The Buyer-Planner is a key role in the strategic plan to gather data and conduct analysis to ensure the supply chain operations are stable and inventory levels are adequate to meet production lead-times. They will also champion the supply planning production components. An enthusiastic self-starter with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems is highly desired. Excellent organizational skills and exceptional multitasking skills are a necessity.You will make an impact by:

Develop production schedule and manufacturing plan consistent with finish product demand, resource availability and inventory level objectives

Review MRP and generate or release orders to meet customer and forecast demand requirements and inventory plan.

Analyzes and maintains material requirement: Issues all purchase orders requests, rescheduling for production materials & assemblies, tracks receipt, expedites and resolves issues.

Track, monitor and expedite part shortages

Integrates internal protocols (e.g., Just-in-time, Kanban) with vendor- and customer-related processes

Resolves goods receipts transaction discrepancies

Assist in reserve calculation, scrap allotment and in COGI clearance

Update ABC/XYZ analysis and forecast update in SAP monthly

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field

2-4 years’ experience working in a Manufacturing environment as a Buyer-Planner

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to draw information from various sources, analyze, and provide a recommendation

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent Excel skills

Preferred Qualifications:

CPIM or CSCP

SAP experience

The pay range for this position is $53,00 - $90,900. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.

Performs ATO planning for a specific geographic boundary including planning, communicating assignments, milestones, and deadlines to the team based on supervisor\'s instructions. Serves as a Planning and Requirements Group (PRG) Lead for communication with external ATO customers including Airport Authorities, Airport District Offices, state and local governments, aviation authorities and any non­ ATO entities. Performs regular meetings with airports to review development plans to identify future projects. Often represents FAA as a senior technical point of contact on projects, programs and other work activities. Communicates results to all levels internally (within an LOB/SO or across LOB/SOs) and externally. Plays a lead role in drafting, reviewing, and editing reports or contractual documents for final approval prior to external distribution. Utilizes the strategic portfolio plans including F&E, Ops, and external stakeholders projects that impact the NAS and performs analysis of portfolio plans to identify integration opportunities, minimize cost, and minimize system and operational impacts. Develops project plans using integrated portfolio plans and provide to all stakeholders for consideration.
