Top technical resources are retained on long-term contract engagements.Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.Contract Duration: 1 MonthRequired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

10 years of development experience Java.

8 years architectural and design experience.

5 years building cloud native application targeting Azure Cloud.

Hands-on experience in systems development in Azure Cloud building Cloud Native Applications.

Proficient in Agile, DevOps and Cloud Native software delivery methodologies.

Proficient building application architecture and design using Unified Modeling Language.

Knowledge of Azure Cloud technologies, Microservices Architecture and Event Driven Architecture.

Knowledge of networking fundamentals and understand GTM, WAF and other network related concepts.

Experience supporting and directing technical architecture for supported business domains.

Ability to work across multiple functional teams in the creation of business solutions.

Knowledge of systems integration practices and understanding of Service Oriented.

Architecture principles and practices.

Ability to simultaneously manage a large Architect workload involving multiple projects, day-to-day tasks, meetings and ad-hoc technical requests.

Ability to adapt to unexpected events, new facts, and rapidly changing circumstances.

Ability to thrive in a sense-of-urgency environment and leverage best practices.

Ability to be highly responsive and communicative, act with urgency, commit to follow-through and delivery, and respond to many simultaneous challenges with tenacity and innovation.

Desired Skills & Experience

Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training.

Airline industry experience.

What You Will Be Doing

Oversees and contributes to the technical approach of application design.

Collaborate with developers to guide the architecture approach for the Functional and Technical Design.

Creates required architecture and design documents to support technical application architecture, vision, strategy, standards, policies, and presentations.

Contribute technical input and responses in meetings and discussions in order to support the best application architecture.

Escalates technical issues when needed to keep project on track and minimize risk.

Use the Agile process working with Business, Automation and Development teams to analyze Business Capabilities/Requirements and translate into Features/User Stories.

Advocate and guide development teams to Shift-Left collaboration and automated testing.

Consistently demonstrates a positive, professional, leadership attitude and frame of mind when working with and communicating with others
