Kelly Science & Clinical has a new temporary to hire opportunity for a Laboratory Technician in Fort Worth, TX!2-5 month Temporary OpportunityPay: $23/hourRotating Shift: M-F 11pm-7:30amDay to Day Responsibilities:
Inspect and diagnose lab equipment, materials, and packaged production to identify problems or defects. Evaluate information against a set of standards and verify that it is correct.
Enter and maintain data in LIMS and generates all Certificates of Analyses.
Performs analytical tests for all incoming raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
Assures that product meets or exceeds standards set forth by the company, and local, state, and Federal governmental. Monitors production operations. Manages the Hold and Release Program for out-of-specification products.
Follows, demonstrates, and enforces all Quality and Food Safety programs, including GFSI, GMPs, Pest Control, HACCP, SSOPs, Trace/Recall, Allergen, Good Laboratory Practices, and Food Security program.
Promotes a zero-incident Safety culture by following all Safety rules.
Provides technical support to customers, supervisors, fellow workers, and subordinates. Responds to customer requests and issues.
Orders supplies and materials.
Completes other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
Technical degree in Science or Chemistry preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge in handling chemicals, titrimetry and basic mathematics required.
General knowledge of laboratory instrumentation.
Basic computer skills required.
Attention to detail and highly organized
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Pay will start at $23/hour.
