Transports patients by the appropriate method to and from all patient care areas. 50%Deliver and pick up patient care equipment, supplies, mail, patient concierge services and other supporting items throughout the hospital.Maintain par levels and cleans equipment in designated areas. 25%Act as central dispatcher for Mission Control department.Monitors systems: RTLS, security cameras, HUGS, fire panel, generator annunciator, medical gas, and other systems associated with patient and materials movement. 10%Secures necessary maintenance and repair of equipment and maintains adequate stock levels of supplies. May assist with inventory and ordering rental equipment, furniture and/or supplies for Mission Control. 5%Adheres to Body Substance Isolation Universal Precaution Policy. 5%Willingly accepts additional duties and tasks assigned by leadership. 5% Education H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Pref Experience 6 Months related experience Pref or6 Months customer service Pref Licenses and Certifications BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req Skills Ability to make independent decisions while maintaining tact, maturity, and a professional attitude. Excellent verbal communication. Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Knowledge of Windows/PC helpful.
