Description: This position supports the Program Management Team within the Ground Support Equipment Sustainment Solutions portfolio with programmatic efforts in both the proposal and execution phases. Specifically this position will support the New Business Management Team (NBMT). The NBMT is responsible for all GSESS proposal activity with SE requirements.This position requires a multi-disciplined individual to integrate many elements of Support Equipment efforts. The selected candidate must be able to work effectively within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) with demonstrated ability to interact with geographically dispersed users, customers, suppliers, functions, and senior leadership while promoting integration within existing F-35 Support Equipment efforts. The selected candidate will coordinate across multiple functions to ensure proposal & program performance metrics are met. Preferred individual will be a self-motivated, quick learner with demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently.The selected candidate will be responsible for leading proposal projects and serve as a liaison between the execution team and the Program Manager. The individual will be responsible for coordinating efforts directly related to the success of proposal development as well as reporting project status. Typical tasking could include: developing proposal schedules and kickoff packages, Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM) development, supporting program reviews, reporting contract status, reviewing proposal requirements, coordinating BOE inputs, coordination between IPT and Senior Program Management, and coordinating efforts to support contract negotiations.Success in performing this position begins with the individual’s ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain/foster effective communication. Candidate must be able to understand program and proposal requirements from both a schedule and deliverables standpoint.
