DescriptionRDC Warehouse Lead Role Summary: The RDC Warehouse Lead, is responsible for overseeing the shipping and receiving operations within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC) with a focus on safety and customer service. The role involves leading and managing daily warehouse operations while fostering a culture of trust, diversity, and inclusion. The RDC Warehouse Lead will collaboration with and influence a team comprising of employees, contractors, and third-party logistics (3PL) to ensure operations excellence and alignment with company values. This role will report to the RDC Leader. The individual must exhibit the following core attributes of the TireHub commitment:

Role Specifics:

· Acts as the primary point of contact for operational inquires, issues, and concerns.

· Oversees and coordinates alongside the RDC Leader to plan daily RDC operation, including logistics scheduling of inbound and outbound, assigning tasks, and monitoring work progress for Hubbers, contractors, and 3PL company and operators.

· Optimizes processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency and capacity.

· Ensures operational activities are completed on time and within budget.

· Tracks and analyzes Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to identify and address improvement areas.

· Collaborates with Operations teams, RDCs, contractors, and 3PL operators to maintain smooth workflows.

· Handles and resolves internal and external customer complaints an escalation professionally and promptly.

· Identifies and addresses operational bottlenecks.

· Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.

· Ensures individual personal adherence to TireHub policies, procedures, and guidelines.

· Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules as assigned.

· Completes other tasks assigned by the RDC Leader and/or another member of Senior Leadership, as requested.

Education/Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

· 5+ years of relevant experience with a strong emphasis on operations and warehouse management.

· Supervisory or management experience is required.

· Demonstrated experience in KPI tracking and management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Exceptional interpersonal skills, including influencing, active listening, and effective communication, with diverse groups.

· Proven experience in process improvement and driving operational excellence.

· Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

· Strong planning and organizational sills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.

· Strong experience of Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experienced in process improvement with comprehensive knowledge of warehouse operations.

· Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work with business leaders and peers to develop and implement innovative operational customer service solutions.

· Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.

· Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

· Repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance ​

· Capable of frequent bending, pulling, rolling, twisting and lifting ​.

· Multitask in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to use computer-based programs include an iPad.

· Accurately and efficiently load and unload tires.

· Must be able to acquire and maintain a valid forklift certification.

· Highly analytical with strong attention to detail.

Work Conditions:

This is a fast-paced and dynamic operating environment with 75% time spent on the warehouse floor.

Must be able to handle and work physical inventory; required to lift up to 50 lbs. or greater with assistance following standard operating and safety procedures. Other physical requirements including, regularly being required to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb and balance.

May be required to handle hazardous materials and wear various forms of protective equipment (gloves, protective eyewear, etc.).

Required to drive a forklift at times and/or operate other standard warehouse equipment.

Required to pass forklift and/or other equipment certifications (written and/or driving).

This position reports onsite to the RDC warehouse.

Available to work Monday – Friday with frequent Saturday work schedules and work flexible hours during routinely critical times to support the department.
