Who knows where our shared journey will take you?We are seeking an experienced SAP person to assist with the setup of a new plant and support ongoing production to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the Siemens Spiridon SAP system with focus on Production Planning (PP), Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management/Warehouse Management (MM/WM/IM) modules. Initially primary focus will be focused on assisting with the creation of a new plant and creating all the master data (material, routings, workcenters, etc.). The candidate will work closely with the plant startup team to ensure a smooth implementation of the new plant. Once complete, this person will work with business users to ensure that the system is running smoothly and efficiently, resolve day to day problems, provide support for system changes as directed by Siemens Corporate and train users on the Siemens Spiridon SAP system. Understanding how to query the SAP system and utilize extracted data to drive issue resolution or process improvement is a must.You will make an impact by: Partnering with the SAP start-up team to ensure new plant creation is a success. Provide technical support and maintenance for the SAP manufacturing system. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP, with a primary focus on PP, SD, and MM modules. Basic understanding of FICO is also desired. Understand the flow from Product Development Engineering to Order Engineering and assist either department with SAP related issues. Assist with IM and WM transactions to clear COGI. Demonstrate a general understanding of the kanban process for both IM and WM. Work as a member of the Ft. Worth COGI team to fix and resolve COGI. Provide feedback to responsible persons on how to eliminate repetitive COGI caused by user error or process gap. Manage SAP user roles and profiles. Work closely with business users to ensure that the system is running smoothly and efficiently. Working knowledge of BOM types. Be an expert in running reports from SAP and searching for specific data as needed or requested by Management or Users. Must be able to manipulate exported SAP data. Develop and maintain documentation related to the site’s SAP processes. Participate in testing and implementation of new functionality or upgrades related to the Ft. Worth SAP modules. Coordinate with the Siemens Corporate SAP support personnel to suggest new or improved functionality.You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or information systems discipline. 5+ years of experience in SAP support in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of SAP production transactions, Excellent communication skills with experience preparing and presenting training. Ability to analyze large data models to drive issue resolution or process improvement.Preferred Qualifications: SAP experience with sales and distribution and project systems related to engineering practices and their linkage to manufacturing.Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
