Areas of Responsibility :
Exhibit very high personal commitment to quality, software engineering best practices, and protection of sensitive consumer information
Attend daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, work estimates
Work directly with the DevOps team on end-to-end product installation & upgrades
Design and implement processes for automated builds, deployment, and configuration management across multiple environments
Provision infrastructure through automation and test this automation
Build and execute unit tests for new and existing application code
Manage CI and CD tools with team
Build, maintain, and monitor configuration standards
Provide input into release management decisions
Work with Customer Care team members to resolve issues with released software.
Automate the collection of metrics and monitor for ways to improve
Provide technical guidance and educate team members on development and operations
Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
Consult with peers for feedback during testing stages
Document and design various processes; update existing processes
Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and communicate their potential to the team
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
4 years previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or DevOps
Experience with C#, .NET, XML, JSON, and GO
Experience with Windows environments and development tools
Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Perl, Ruby, .NET,
Prior experience with Agile workflow methodologies (e.g. Scrum/Kanban/SAFe)
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications :
Point of Sale, Hospitalty/Retail, eCommerce, or payment processing applications
8 years previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
Experience setting up or managing DevOps workflows (e.g. CI/CD, Monitoring, Automation)
Ability to drive issues to effective resolution and to find solutions to challenging, time-critical problems
