Description Robert Half has partnered with a growing luxury hotel in Fort Worth is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our dynamic team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the hotel, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and contributing to various financial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, expanding organization.Key Responsibilities:
Uphold the values and guiding principles of the hotel in all financial operations
Manage multiple accounting functions in a fast-paced, demanding environment
Oversee daily audits and prepare the daily revenue journal
Analyze balance sheet accounts, prepare lead schedules, and record necessary adjustments
Record and analyze accruals to ensure accurate reporting of liabilities
Participate in the preparation of tax returns (monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Prepare journal entries and maintain an accurate general ledger for all business units
Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, vendor, and customer accounts
Prepare monthly reconciliations of intercompany receivables and payables
Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reporting packages
Support the coordination and execution of financial audits
Assist in preparing annual budgets and related reports
Maintain confidentiality and security of financial and employee records
Contribute to various financial projects and system initiatives
Collaborate with business partners to streamline business operations and financial management
Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of full cycle accounting experience, especially with journal entries, month end close, reconciliations and financial statements
Skilled in Excel, especially use of pivot tables and vlookups
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Accredited College or University Preferred
Excellent strategic, analytical, and creative thinking aptitude in both an independent and team environment.
Intermediate understanding of GAAP accounting
