Overview and Essential FunctionsA Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground to join our team! A successful Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground shall be responsible for supervisory in-house and contractors to ensure accuracy, timeliness and profitability. At a minimum, the position requires a detailed working knowledge of telecommunications OSP construction. Construction Supervisor provides oversight, scheduling, instructions, interpretation, and training, as needed, for all crews, subcontractors, and inspectors for the construction/upgrade of cable television or telephone systems. A Construction Supervisor will work closely with the construction management team and support staff to meet build schedules and customer objectives. Candidates with 12 months of verifiable utility construction experience are eligible for $2500 Gross Hiring Bonus, for applications received between September 1, 2023, and October 31, 2023, job offer date and start employment by November 30, 2023 . Responsibilities:
Supervisor crew performance, revenue, costs and address any problems or issues timely.
Work through design challenges and change orders efficiently and effectively
Supervisor in-house crews and/or inspect subcontractor crews
Visit and inspect job sites
Supervisor safety program for work areas
Ensure all corporate policies and procedures are followed and contribute to company strategies and plans.
Supervise and implement the Company Construction Program ensuring that each jobsite utilizes the construction rules, practices and policies.
Reviews dailies, timecards and other financial reports for accuracy and timeliness.
Represents company and interfaces with customer, developers, property owners, utilities, and municipalities.
Coordinates, leads, and provides assistance to crews, subcontractors and other interested parties.
Ensure that construction schedules are met on time.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Possess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position.
A good driving record is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 5 years of related work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Detailed working knowledge of telecommunications OSP construction.
Previous construction supervisor and/or managerial experience.
Project management skills including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.

Pay range is commensurate with experience: $67,000/annual to $72,000/annual
