Description We are in the process of expanding our team and are in need of an Accounts Payable Clerk. The successful candidate will be located in Houston, Texas, 77041, United States. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and will require 100% on-site presence. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will have a critical role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring our financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.Responsibilities Accurately code invoices, ensuring that they match with the appropriate accounts and cost centers Process customer credit applications in a timely and precise manner Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer credit records Conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors Provide efficient data entry services, ensuring all financial data is entered accurately into our system Process invoices, ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures Utilize Excel to create and maintain financial reports and records Use Great Plains Dynamics for various financial management tasks Perform account reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Comprehensive understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), demonstrating the ability to manage invoices and payments. Capable of executing Check Runs, streamlining the payment process. Experience in Coding Invoices, ensuring correct categorization and processing. Skilled in Data Entry, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in data management. Expertise in Invoice Processing, managing incoming invoices in a timely and efficient manner. Proficient in Excel, demonstrating strong data management and analytical skills. Familiarity with Great Plains Dynamics, facilitating smooth financial operations.
