Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be a part of a team working in a fast-paced construction environment. Your primary duty will be to provide administrative support, including data entry and customer service tasks. Responsibilities: Efficiently manage and organize office tasks to maintain a smooth workflow Utilize Microsoft Office tools, with a focus on Excel and Outlook, to complete assigned tasks Demonstrate strong QuickBooks skills, specifically the desktop version Show proficiency in handling multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time Understand and execute the process of receiving goods, emphasizing accuracy in 2-way matching Exhibit strong data entry skills, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date Answer inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service Handle email correspondence, ensuring all messages are responded to in a timely manner Schedule appointments and manage calendars Assist with construction projects, keeping track of project progress.Please note that this role requires the ability to stand your ground in a professional manner when necessary. It is essential that the candidate is not easily offended and is capable of working effectively in a construction environment.
