In this role, you will play a key part in inspiring change and continual improvement. Coordinate the completion of annual business plans, including detailed and market leasing assumptions, operating and capital budgets, cash flow projections, recovery profiles and individual asset strategies

Assist in the preparation of quarterly reforecasts and valuation reports for Board and investor presentations

Contribute to the property budgeting process and the preparation of the company business plan

Support preparation of quarterly board materials and other regular reporting

Assisting in analyzing new leasing deals

Responsible for inputs and ensure the accuracy of real estate based financial models (ARGUS)

Assist team as necessary, including the preparation of various ad-hoc analyses (Excel based)

Miscellaneous projects with other departments and corporate team members

Co-ordinate external appraisals. Compare and review results to make recommendations to senior managers

Prepare detailed cash flow projections and analysis of existing properties, including NER analysis for proposed leasing transactions

Run regular hold/sell analysis and prepare investment committee memorandums for dispositions, financings, and major lease transactions

Conduct market research and prepare presentations for management review

Provide assistance on regional operations initiatives as needed

Your Qualifications:

Top academic credentials; Bachelor’s degree, finance degree a plus

2+ years’ experience in commercial real estate asset management, investments or finance

Excellent numerical aptitude and arithmetically proficient with a sound understanding of NPV, IRR and TVM principles.

Quantitative thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities

Ability to handle large volume of work and prioritize to meet deadlines

Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development

A team player, able to work in a fast-paced environment, cope with changing priorities and meet deadlines.

Ability to effectively balance a varied workload involving numerous projects and overlapping time constraints to meet tight deadlines

Close attention to detail and accuracy of your work

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written) and ability to interact with all levels of the organization

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ARGUS software
