Description Robert Half is actively seeking an organized Billing Clerk with an eye for detail. This Billing Clerk opening is with an organization in the Houston, Texas area and is a short-term contract / temporary position. As a Billing Clerk, your daily duties will consist of reviewing bills and compiling data into spreadsheets and accounting software. Analyze billing documents and other data for accuracy and completeness, obtain missing or correct data when necessary
Build financial controls and procedures
Investigate, process, and evaluate bills or invoices for services rendered
Operate closely with other functional teams to certify data quality and consistency Requirements - Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
Excellent communication and organizational skills
1+ years of experience in a related role
Deep understanding of Ariba
Open Invoice experience
Comprehensive knowledge of billing
Command of Enter Invoices
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Ability to work with spreadsheets, internet applications and ERP systems
