Help Desk Analyst III

Description The Help Desk Analyst III is a critical role within our IT department. They are responsible for providing high-level technical support and assistance for our company's systems, software, and hardware, resolving complex technical issues, and supporting the IT team on various projects. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer service orientation.

Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, and hardware.

Serve as the highest level of escalation, handling the most difficult and complex cases that junior team members are unable to resolve.

Exhibit exceptional problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems.

Collaborate and communicate with technical and non-technical staff to ensure efficient operation of the company's desktop computing environment.

Coordinate with the technology team to plan and implement system upgrades and rollouts.

Train and guide staff on hardware and software usage.

Document, track and monitor problems to ensure a timely resolution.

Test and evaluate new technology for the company.

Perform remote troubleshooting and diagnostics using utilities and tools.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a help desk support role.

Proficiency in troubleshooting network issues and operating systems.

Extensive experience with Windows/Mac OS and Office 365.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
