Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Regional Controller based in Houston, Texas. As the Regional Controller, you will play a pivotal role in the financial management and strategic financial decision-making for the region. Responsibilities: Contribute as a key member of the Regional Leadership Team, helping to ensure the successful operation of the region. Oversee all accounting and financial management activities within the region. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on key decisions impacting the organization. Ensure that the accounting standards and policies are enacted upon by all parts of the region. Manage the financial interests of the region within acceptable accounting principles and with due cognizance of the relevant local and international commercial laws. Oversee financial forecast, planning, and analysis for the region. Monitor and control the financial performance for the Region, providing accurate reporting within the agreed timetable to the Regional Leadership and Group Finance teams. Implement agreed business strategies and processes, providing technical advice to regional management. Make major contributions to the successful running of the Region in strategic and operational matters. Utilize skills in Statutory Accounting to enhance efficiency and accuracy in all tasks.For immediate consideration, email Mark, mark.loiacano@roberthalf.c0mRequirements Bachelors in Accounting and CPA Extensive experience in the development and implementation of financial controls and processes. Proven ability in managing and coordinating financial audits. Demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage regional teams. Ability to comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
