Description OUTSTANDING OPPORTUNITY FOR CONSOLIDATION EXPERTS!We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Consolidation Accounting expert at our manufacturing industry client, based in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will be a key member of the accounting team, managing the global consolidated US GAAP internal and external reporting within a fast-paced, dynamic, and global manufacturing environment. What you get to do every day: Oversee the monthly close processes, working in collaboration with international locations, FP& A, and site controllers Handle the quarterly and annual audit processes with external auditors, coordinating schedules and disclosure checklists Perform variance analysis and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external income statement and balance sheet Lead the preparation and variance analysis of quarterly and annual cash flow statements for external reporting Prepare quarterly and annual footnote disclosures and disclosure schedules for external reporting Lead the OneStream reporting and consolidations project Manage the submission of government surveys Contribute to periodic FASB compliance analyses and reporting Ensure timely and accurate corporate level account reconciliations Assist with the SOX compliance program Handle other Ad Hoc requests and projects as needed.Requirements Show me you possess the following: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry Expertise in account reconciliation Proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation Experience with bank reconciliations Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger operations Ability to prepare and review journal entries Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience in month end close activities Knowledge of consolidations in accounting Experience in financial statements consolidation Familiarity with OneStream software Proficiency in SAP Previous experience in public accounting Experience in public company reporting.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
