The Technical Specialist serves as an entry-level to developing technical professional, crucial to supporting the field sales organization and ensuring customer program success within water treatment applications. This role is focused on building foundational expertise and applying core technical skills under the guidance of experienced team members. The Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of standard customer solutions, supporting basic troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate documentation while utilizing digital tools. approach to meeting customer needs.Key Responsibilities
Technical Program Support:
○ Provide essential technical support for standard water treatment applications, collaborating closely with senior team members.
○ Conduct basic water testing, equipment inspections, and support field testing of standard products and applications.
○ Assist in fundamental troubleshooting activities under direct supervision.
○ Shadow experienced colleagues during customer visits and technical reviews to build on-the-job competency.Data Management & Documentation:
○ Maintain accurate and detailed records of assigned accounts within digital platforms (e.g., CMS, SPG).
○ Assist in routine technical data collection and analysis to support program performance metrics and technical excellence audits.
○ Support preparation of comprehensive technical reports and presentations.
○ Help coordinate sample analysis and ensure proper documentation is maintained.Compliance & Professional Development:
○ Learn and actively apply fundamental water treatment concepts and chemical product applications.
○ Adhere strictly to standard operating procedures and all established safety protocols, actively promoting safety awareness.
○ Participate in required technical training to continuously build expertise in core competencies.
○ Support basic data gathering for bids and proposals.
