Citibank, N.A. seeks a Data Analytics Senior Analyst for its Irving, Texas location.Duties: Leverage understanding of how data analytics collectively integrates within Data Governance and Data Architecture. Coordinate and contribute to overall function objectives of best practices for overseeing data usage, data quality and well-defined analytics to support the business. Ensure compliance with data governance policies from data users to improve accuracy, completeness, and transparency of data, in order to deliver quality Business Intelligence and Financial Reporting. Resolve inconsistences in data that is used to develop planning and forecasting models, which include multidirectional data flow and multidimensional data storage platforms such as Oracle Enterprise Performance Management and Essbase. Examine data systems and apply logical and systemic structured analysis. Identify root causes, provide detailed analysis, and recommend appropriate action for complex and variable issues involving data lineage, data quality management, reference data, data governance and reporting processes. Contribute towards policies to improve data quality and data standards applicable to storing and leveraging data for reporting purposes. Improve data flow in big data environment. Evaluate data quality and analytics practices, including data flow architecture, process models, and data usage, in order to analyze risk vulnerabilities and assess risk impact. Serve as subject matter expert in data governance and custodian ownership of data. Integrate documentation and data lineage with technical details. Communicate and coordinate with stakeholders to implement long term data governance vision, policies, and procedures. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Requires Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Analytics, Project Management, Information Systems, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Data Governance Analyst, Data Analyst, or related position involving data governance and data issue management. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified progressive post-baccalaureate experience. Full span of experience must include: Data analysis using Structured Query Language (SQL) and Relational Database Management Systems; Data Governance policies and custodian ownership of data; Project Management; Data Mining to resolve data issues; and Providing Business Intelligence through data visualization tools including Power BI. Additionally, 1 year of experience must include: Oracle Enterprise Performance Management System Suite of Tools, including Essbase Multidimensional Database Systems; Process Modeling for detailed analysis for data issues such as data lineage, data quality management, and data tracing in Financial Planning and Analysis data; and Resolving issues governing data processes and inconsistencies in data in Financial Planning and Analysis areas.
