RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Irving, TX that is seeking a .NET Solutions Architect. This is a great opportunity for a talented Solutions Architect to contribute to all aspects of this rapidly transforming organization, by delivering best-in-class solutions and supporting a large delivery team with established best practices.
Responsibilities:
.NET Solutions Architect will lead in defining, documenting, and developing software, as well as contribute to architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews and collaboration with the delivery team
Contribute to the review and analysis of business requirements and technical story writing
Provide expertise to identify and translate business requirements into software design documentation, diagrams, and execution strategies
Develop, monitor, and track application health with telemetry, data quality guards, and defensive programming techniques
.NET Solutions Architect will provide solutions for technical debt including assessment of new technologies, implementing POCs, nurturing CI/CD Pipelines, designing for QA Automation, and perpetual performance tuning
Evaluate software change requests, determine the business need, conduct root cause analysis, and implement technically efficient solutions
Assess the impact of software changes on Cottonwood and other systems, including conducting unit, integration, and automated tests to mitigate risks and minimize health impact
Design, run and monitor software performance tests on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors and improving performance
Collaborate with team members on technical direction
.NET Solutions Architect will promptly escalate issues, which affect product delivery and quality that are beyond scope of influence
Establish best practices and policies for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting end-user access and usage of database applications
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/other experience
7+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications using .NET, C#, WPF, WCF, MVC, and SOA or Microservices with REST/SOAP/GraphQL and SQL Server or comparable technologies
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Local (Dallas/Fort Worth area) candidates only - no relocation

Experience designing and implementing applications utilizing React and TypeScript on the front-end along with RESTful APIs built on.NET Framework/Core
Experience working in cloud technologies, Azure/AWS/GCP
Experience applying modern and cloud Design Patterns
Experience with analytical and decision science platforms, Power BI
Working understanding of OIDC and OAuth2
Experience with quality automation, SmartBear TestComplete, CodedUI, Selenium
Experience in a financial or regulated environment preferred
