DescriptionAmazon Web Services is continuing to pioneer and is seeking a Public Sector Enablement Specialist to assist in delivering tools, training, processes, & other enablement programs that equip AWS Public Sector sales teams to better serve customers and grow the business. This role encompasses supporting project plans that will accelerate each initiative, while also tactically implementing each program individually and/or in concert with cross-functional team members.The successful candidate will combine an understanding of public sector dynamics, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to synthesize information. This individual will work closely with the worldwide enablement team, sales teams, and other cross-functional leads, maintaining existing business practices while collaborating to identify new initiatives that would result in time-savings and increased sales effectiveness. Examples of the projects that will be supported by this individual include constructing enablement resources for specific sales verticals, supporting go-to-market motions, onboarding, and ongoing learning efforts, while contributing to programs that ultimately enable account teams to accelerate sales pipelines.In this role, you will be responsible for assisting onboarding and ongoing development training to the Public Sector sales teams. You will have an opportunity to combine a passion for problem solving and enthusiasm for technology to drive learning and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sales employees. You will work closely with many stakeholders to discover and meet the objectives of the organization. Experience within organizations supporting the public sector and direct sales experience is preferred.Key job responsibilities

Support employee training using a variety of instructional techniques and delivery methods, including classroom-based and virtual learning to create an engaging learner experience.

Assist in the development and scaling of enablement activities throughout the year, working closely with colleagues to identify gaps within the team’s needs, and design and implement projects to meet business requirements.

Identify project roadblocks, research and present root-cause analysis, and manage resolution.

Report on the effectiveness of enablement investments through dashboards and recurring reporting mechanisms.

Maintain scheduled deadlines, detailed training, and initiative status reports of projects across the Public Sector team

Collaborate with worldwide enablement teams to educate account teams and introduce new programs.

Support ad hoc special projects as needed

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years combination of project management, sales enablement, direct sales, sales operations experience

Experience working with or in technology or public sector fields

Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization

Ability to consistently meet deadlines, and provide well-vetted reporting and business recommendations

Experience using sales or customer relationship management (CRM) tools such as Salesforce.com and various content/knowledge management systems.

The base pay for this position ranges from $61,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $131,000/year in our highest geographic market.
