We are looking for an Azure Support Specialist to help provide expert level support for Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Active Directory to support a government customer. You will work as a member of the engineering team supporting this agencies Azure cloud operations.● Work with other Cloud Engineers and product teams supporting that Azure Virtual Desktop Environment● Contribute to the IaC framework through code contributions.● Provide emergency after hours support as required.● Work with and troubleshoot problems from application and DevOps teams.● Your success will be measured through your ability to grow your cloud automation skills and contribute to the overall cloud management system.WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 5+ years IT or related experience, 3+ supporting Azure or AVD.Strong troubleshooting skills.Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.Managing Windows Operating Systems on Microsoft Azure. Azure Entra ID Active Directory and Group policy experience and navigation familiarity Cloud image building and managementPREFERRED Experience Network and firewall troubleshooting Familiarity with windows and Azure automation tools Experience supporting Azure Virtual Desktop including managing hostpools and other AVD infrastructure (FSLogix profiles, application groups, session hosts, etc) One of the following cloud certifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner or SysOps Administrator, Azure Fundamentals Some hobbyist or professional programming experience with one or more of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, C#, Java, Groovy, Rust, Go, Swift, TypeScript, Ruby, Bash. Some experience with a CI/CD based automation tool such as GitLab pipeline development. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
