Title:MedSSI: Patient Administrative Technician (TCN)Belong, Connect, Grow with KBR!PROGRAM SUMMARY:The Diplomatic Platform Support Services (DiPSS) works in support of the Department of State to provide medical support services. The primary scope of this program is to execute medical support services at the United States Embassy and adjacent facilities in the Middle East.POSITION SUMMARY: The Patient Administrative Technician provides a range of medical support services in areas such as medical technologist and transcriptionist, ultrasound, medical records, health information, medical illustrators, occupational therapists, and phlebotomists.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide a range of services to include patient services such as diagnostic imaging, test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities, collect patient specimen, and work with other health professionals to provide required office/laboratory procedures.

Services that are not directly patient care related include maintaining medical records, transcribing medical data provided by healthcare professionals, and provide medical illustrations.

Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression.

Develops competence by performing structured work assignments.

Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.

Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.

May require flight physical.

Requires conceptual knowledge of theories, practices and procedures within a discipline.

Applies general knowledge of industry developed through education or past experience.

Begins acquiring disciplinary knowledge within the context of specific DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and engineering requirements.

No mentoring or advisory responsibilities; accountable for developing own technical contribution.

Uses existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyses information and standard practices to make judgments.

Has limited impact on own work team; works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.

Exchanges straightforward information asks questions and checks for understanding.

No formal supervisory responsibility; works under team lead direction.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a college or university degree.

Platform specific training/military qualifications. Typically requires 4 to 7 years of relevant experience within the program.

Specific contract requirements will prevail.

Must be medically fit and willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS

Must be able to lift 50lbs

Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 13 months of remaining validity AND 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently

Candidates must also meet CENTCOM MOD (Fit for Duty) theater requirements.

Must currently possess or be able to obtain prior to being hired as is required for this position a U.S. Government (USG) issued Secret security clearance and/or a favorable USG Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT). Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance or certification level for the duration of the task order.
