Description/Job SummaryAssistant ManagerJob Responsibilities:
Responsible for overseeing employees in the operation and maintenance of a kitchen area in a military dining facility. Familiar with Army Food Management Information System Dining Faciliy Operations (AFMIS-DFO) in the performance of required administrative tasks.
Coordinates the workflow, administrative requirements and timecard preparation and maintenance for assigned food service personnel.
Knowledge of headcount procedures, cash collection, production schedules, sensitive and high dollar item disposition, and the safe operaton of standard kitchen equipment.
Responsbile for maintaining company and government sanitation standards, practice good housekeeping and safety precautions at all times; provide outstanding customer service; and perform other duties as deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
Three years restaurant managment experience
Serve-Safe certification desired
High-energy, motivational and fun personality
Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolutions skills
Good oral and written communicaton skills
BA degree is desired, education may be waived in lieu of prior experience
Trained in the applicaton of AFMIS-DFO standards is desired
Experience using AR 30-22, Army Food Service Program; TB MED 530, Food Service Sanitation, and TM 10-412, Armed Forces Recipe Service procedures
Unique Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age
Must be a United States citizen or be authorized to work in the US
Must pass pre-employment drug test and backgroun check
Compensation:Exempt position: Salary Range $41,600.00 - $47,840.00Benefits include: Vacation, Sick and Health InsuranceMust be able to work any shift and weekends
