Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This role is primarily based in the Real Estate and Property industry and involves supporting multiple business operations. The position requires a highly organized individual adept at managing high-volume invoices and multiple inboxes. Prior experience in a construction-related environment would be advantageous.Responsibilities Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of a high volume of invoices daily Carry out account reconciliations to ensure all financial data is correct Perform data entry tasks to maintain updated customer records Manage multiple inboxes and promptly respond to customer inquiries Operate at the pace of the company, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner Accept and process payments, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and organize financial data Execute check runs to make payments to vendors or suppliers Use coding for invoices to ensure proper categorization of expenses Conduct invoice processing, cross-checking details against purchase orders and delivery notes. Performs transactions quickly, efficiently, and professionally. Provides the following representative services Provides layaway services. Explains layaway policies and requirements. Provides refunds, merchandise exchanges, and price adjustments in accordance with NEX policy. Takes and places customer special orders as required. Computes cost and takes required deposit.
