Job DescriptionInsight Global is seeking a licensed Fire Protection Engineer. The average day to day is primarily (50-60%) in production utilizing Revit and some CAD. Responsibilities also include mentoring EIT's, administrative management, quality assurance, project meetings and business development. Projects are typically Federal / Department of Defense (DoD) with some public and private work as well. The sizes of the projects are also varied, with small, medium, and large projects all being a part of the portfolio. Initially, business development will be minimal but will grow to 5-10% over time. Travel, up to 25% of the time, includes international and domestic destinations for observations, charettes, and meetings. This role would be joining a team of six in a mid-sized full service A/E company. Ideally it sits hybrid with 3 onsite days. Licensed or soon to be licensed Professional Engineer specifically in the Qualified Fire Protection Engineer (QFPE) exam
5+ years of experience as a Fire Protection Engineer (FPE)
FPE experience needs to be true all around FPE work, not just one facet of it - Revit experience is highly desired
Federal / Department of Defense (DoD) experience is highly desired
Full Service A/E firm experience
Ability to attain Secret Clearance
Prior experience working as a contractor null
