Maintenance Specialist III

The Maintenance job family is responsible for planning, scheduling, and organizing the efficient operation and performance of work assignments. Coordinates with various departments to achieve optimum utilization of operation resources and effectively achieve production improvements through usage of industry standard methodologies.This position will support the Work Execution process through support of planning, directing, and activity coordination of work to accommodate corrective and preventive maintenance and quality documentation for Plant Operations.This position shall be performed under the day-to-day direction, control, and supervision of WTCC.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES/TASKS

Maintain current training, certification and development requirements.

Process Material Service Order Forms (MSOF).

Catalog CMMS Engineering, Maintenance and Operations material requests and ensure catalog standards are met in alignment with procedural requirements.

Support other parts request administration and inventory support functions as needed.

Maintains assigned tracking reports, metrics and records.

Review, Approve or reject CMMS Material Requests based on Adherence to the project material configuration management control requirements.

Establishes the equipment Bill of Material (BOM) links to cataloged spares and materials based on the approved Material Service Order Form.

Administer origination of all Maintenance and Operations Material Requisitions (SCR) to procure materials, spares and services.

Expedited tracking and reporting of material requisition, services requisition, purchase order award and delivery status updated any associated Work Packages with relevant material status.

Assist with Material Receipt balance into the CMMS inventory program to ensure material availability to support Maintenance and Operations scheduled scope.

Some support for department procedure change control may be required

Support the Waste Treatment Plant Nuclear Safety Quality Culture by emphasizing the values of safety and quality in the performance of work in order to protect self, others, and the environment

REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONSEducation/Experience:Bachelor’s degree business, engineering, construction management, economics and 4 years’ experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or similar Inventory Management Systems. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail material control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, requisitioning, expediting, materials control.ORAssociates degree business, engineering, construction management, economics and 6 years’ experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or similar Inventory Management Systems. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail material control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, requisitioning, expediting, materials control.ORHigh School Diploma/GED and 8 years’ experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), or similar Inventory Management Systems. Possess the ability to perform vital and detail material control functions. Knowledge of a variety of operating activities such as purchasing, requisitioning, expediting, materials control.Preferred :Material Management/Procurement experience in the DOE / ISMS / VPP / Commercial Nuclear environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS(EFNM) Exposed Field Non-Manual- Performs desk work, including writing, computer workstation processes, and telephone operation. Arranges for and/or performs presentations, oral reports, planning meetings, and other formal and informal contacts, requiring long periods of sitting. Oversees field activities through inspections, testing and equipment operations, which requires walking, standing, bending, and turning along with wearing of personal protective equipment. Occasional loading, transport, and unloading of tools and/or supplies specific to an activity.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSHIRING SALARY RANGE: $99,193.03 - $154,255.09 Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)This position includes a competitive benefits package.
