We are currently searching for a new team member who is organized, great in time management, has attention to detail, is resourceful, and a quick learner. This position will start as part-time (20 hrs a week) and could potentially turn into full-time depending on their ability to learn quickly.

Our small accounting & tax office currently has at least 20 accounting clients and is growing. We need someone who can help the owner manage the tasks that need to be done for each client, making sure that everything we need from them is received on a timely manner. This new team member will be working on-site 90% of the time. Remote work is only available when we see that this person can handle the tasks assigned to them without much supervision.

The ideal team member must possess the following skills:

- Advance knowledge of QB, desktop & online.

- Must be well adept in using Excel.

- Experience with payroll and reports that need to be filed when they are due.

- Knows and understand Combined Excise Tax and city taxes.

- Knowledge of income tax preparation is a plus.

After 90 days, like our current employees this new team member will be eligible for:

- sick and vacation pay

- personal pay for their birthdays and extra day

- holiday pay

- rate increases after 90 days, once or twice every year thereafter

- paid company get together (summer and holiday parties)

Unfortunately, we do not offer other benefits just yet. But we are currently looking into it for 2025.
