AAA KARTAK Glass & Closet, a family-owned finishing touches construction company, is looking for an entry level Fabrication Drafter to join our award-winning team in Everett, WA. We want people who are interested in developing a career with our well-established company.
The Position:
We are looking for an individual who is efficient, has an eye for detail and either has experience understanding measurements and drawings or is excited to learn. The perfect individual has a strong attention to detail, is self-motivated, good with computers and has excellent basic math understanding with the ability to think geometrically and spacially. There will be on the job training for this entry level position.
Work schedule will be full time dayshift hours Mon – Fri with flexible start times. Position starts at $20 per hour with regular wage reviews. Our Fabrication Drafters can expect an annual salary range of $41,600 - $50,960.
Must Haves:
Detail oriented
Excellent basic math skills
Work and communicate well in a team-setting
Proficient at data entry
Familiarity and experience with Windows computers and Office products
Ability to read a tape measure
Ability to understand drawings and manage details
Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, perform multiple tasks and work independently
Ability to pass a drug test and complete a background check
Reliable transportation to work
Ability to hear, read, and speak fluent English with legible handwriting
Previous successful job experience and references
Experience in construction or blueprint reading is not required but is a plus
Basic tools knowledge and fabrication (hobby or professional) experience is a plus
