Qualifications:
Certificate or tangible proof of proficiency in Rhino3D (other 3D CAD software experience considered). AutoCAD is a bonus. Technical degree in Marine/Mechanical Design or CAD/CAM is preferred.
Working knowledge of welding and fabrication is advantageous.
2-5 years of experience in a similar role. Marine experience is beneficial.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with external and internal design, engineering, and fabrication teams to create well defined designs.
Apply standard engineering procedures and techniques to complete detailed construction drawings, piping layouts, and equipment arrangements.
Transform 3D designs into comprehensive 2D drawing sets.
