The GREF AMER Commute Planner will be a member of the Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) team that oversees corporate office space and programs globally. You will be an integral part of the AMER Commute Planning Team responsible for helping to delivering GREF Commute, our world class commuting program for employees and visitors. GREF Commute includes Amazon Ride (commuter, last mile, and intercampus shuttles), public transit and car-free programs, bicycle programs, Amazon managed parking assignments, and employee engagement and events.The GREF Commute Planner will work with the AMER Program Manager to implement the commute vision for AMER and their individual Areas. This role will work collaboratively with the GREF Amer Commute Program Manager, GREF Commute staff, and AMER wide vendors to identify best practices, incorporate employee feedback, implement innovative programs, and monitor progress.This is an exciting role working on big initiatives to improve employee experience and help Amazon meet its goals. Example initiatives include:● Decreasing single occupancy rides in support of Amazon’s Net Zero commitment● Reimagining how parking is managed from an employee experience and technology standpoint● Developing methodology and metrics for incorporating customer feedback into program planning and developmentThe role will be based in Seattle, WA and may include some travel.Key job responsibilitiesThe GREF AMER Commute Planner will work collaboratively with the GREF AMER Commute Program Manager and Global Real Estate & Facilities teams on: Program Innovation: Bring innovative ideas and industry best practices to elevate commute program offerings tailored to the local context. Employee Engagement and Feedback: Implement a communications and engagement strategy in partnership with GREF Commute Regional Leads to promote programs and offer avenues for employee feedback. Support Regional Leads to successfully respond to escalations and support consensus and alignment with business leaders. Program Requirements: Support Regional Leads to meet local program requirements, including trip reduction, survey, or other requirements. Forecast: Support development of AMER commute budget forecasts. Vendor RFP Processes: Support development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and selection process. Partnerships: Support partnerships with regional transit agencies and Amazon Public Policy and Sustainability teams. Program Monitoring: Support development of dashboards and systems to track GREF AMER Commute performance. 5+ years of program or project management experience

Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

4+ years of transportation planning experience

Bachelor’s degree in transportation planning, economics, public policy, engineering, or a related field

Review and interpret big data sets and summarize key takeaways for leadership, GREF Commute Regional Leads, and employee consumption.

Bring a sense of curiosity and critical thinking to continuously improve the GREF AMER Commute program.

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
