Job Title: Chief Mechanical EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to lead and work on various Mechanical Engineering and Energy/Industrial projects in Kirkland, WA, or Exton, PA. As part of our dynamic team, you will report to the Chief Mechanical Engineer and provide engineering design services primarily in the energy and industrial processing sectors. Your role will involve working on upgrades to existing facilities and new projects, supporting proposals, and possibly managing smaller projects. There are work schedule possibilities for in-office, hybrid, or remote setups.Hard Skills

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar from an ABET accredited institution

10+ years of engineering experience

PE license preferred

Experience in creating flow diagrams and P&IDs

Experience writing equipment specifications

Knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid flow

Familiarity with ASME B31.1, ASME Section VIII, TEMA, HI, HEI, CTI, NFPA

Experience with AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, AutoCAD (P&ID), SmartPlant 3D

Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, or gas-fired power plant design

Knowledge of renewable energy, hydrogen gas, pipe stress modeling software, and thermal plant modeling
