Description We are in search of a Compensation & Benefits Specialist based in Seattle, Washington. The role revolves around the administration and communication of the organization's benefits programs, processing customer credit applications, and maintaining accurate customer records. This role is a contract employment opportunity, suited to those with skills in ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian, Cisco Webex Meetings, CRM, Auditing, Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, Cobra Administration, Communication, Leave of Absence, Benefits Administration, and Employee Benefits - ERISA. Responsibilities Administer and communicate the organization's benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life, retirement, and disability, detailing plan options, enrollment, and other requirements. Assist team members with the benefit enrollment process and provide recommendations on current benefits. Coordinate with vendors to customize and implement systems for the administration of various benefits programs. Process and manage benefits-related invoices and benefit terminations. Play a crucial role in benefits education and communication initiatives including onboarding, open enrollment, terminations. Ensure compliance of the 401(k) program procedures with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Department of Labor requirements. Accurately report and fund HSA, FSA, and other deductions. Conduct reconciliation of all monthly benefit participation and invoices. Manage annual Open Enrollment and adhere to evidence of insurability guidelines. Serve as the expert on leaves, accommodations, and workers' compensation in multiple states and jurisdictions. Maintain and report all data required by OSHA regulations and interpret leave and accommodation policies to facilitate administration. Manage leave of absence request forms and maintain confidential personnel files and leave documentation. Perform other tasks as requested by management. Requirements Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now Experience with Ceridian and Cisco Webex Meetings Familiarity with CRM platforms Proficient in auditing and benefit functions Experience in claim administration and Cobra administration Excellent communication skills Knowledge of leave of absence protocols Experience in benefits administration Understanding of employee benefits, specifically ERISA Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Prior experience in a similar role would be advantageous Familiarity with labor laws and regulations is a plus Strong organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
