Swing Wine Bar is a full-scale restaurant, serving cocktails, beer, wine, and a full dinner menu to guests 21 years of age and older in a quaint bungalow overlooking Capital Lake, Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Swing has been owned by the same family since we opened our doors in 2007 and much of our staff have been with us for many years.
Swing is known for offering an eclectic upscale-casual menu prepared daily, from scratch, by our small, talented kitchen team. We are looking to add a line cook to our team, as business is steady.
We prefer applicants with restaurant cooking experience, but we are willing to interview applicants with limited experience and a strong ambition to learn and work in a supportive environment.
This is a part-time position, from 20 to 30 hours per week, nights and weekends, dependent upon the candidate.
Applicants must be organized and responsible, have a clean and hygienic presentation and a strong work ethic.
Swing is closed on some major holidays such as Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, allowing our staff to spend time with their family and friends.We have a clean and well-maintained kitchen, and professional staff, some of whom have worked there for over ten years.
Swing pays a competitive $20-25 hourly (tips included) rate, DOE, and offers every employee a 401k retirement plan.
