Another Source’s client, Sabey Corporation, is recruiting a Human Resouces Manager to join their team, onsite at their HQ in Tukwila, WA.
About the role:
At Sabey, the Human Resources Manager position is primarily responsible for managing all HR administration functions, including assisting our third-party recruiting agency and hiring managers with the recruitment and screening of candidates for open positions, generating offer letters, onboarding, offboarding, benefit programs, compensation, performance management, training & development, compliance/audits, policy development, leave of absences, and employee relations activities. This position is hands-on and operates as one of the primary HR and HRIS (currently ADP) experts. The Human Resources Manager works directly with senior leadership, hiring managers, payroll, and reports to the corporation’s Director of Human Resources.

Salary range: $92,558 - $138,837
Role responsibilities:
Recruiting, Hiring, Onboarding and Offboarding:
Work directly with hiring managers and our third-party recruiting agency to develop recruiting strategies to attract high-quality candidates
Develop and maintain valuable social networks (internal and external) and a web-based recruiting presence
Hands-on management of and participation in each phase of the hiring process, including job description development and review, posting position openings, resume screening, interviews, candidate screening and hiring
Ensure applicant tracking is in conformance with EEO guidelines
Assist with new employee on-boarding and offboarding for employees leaving the company, both voluntary and involuntary separations
Assist with initiating pre-employment background checks and scheduling pre-employment drug tests for new hires
Benefit Plan Development and Administration:
Maintain industry knowledge of benefit plan trends
Retain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s benefit plans including employee eligibility, costs, terms, and conditions
Field employee and carrier benefit questions and concerns
Assist with the corporation’s annual open enrollment process
Assist with the review, reconciliation, and payment of all benefit related invoices
Assist with various benefit-related reporting
Human Resources Practices, Policies, and Compliance:
Provide expert advice, coaching, and counsel to managers and employees on HR policy, procedures, and employment/labor laws
Navigate employee relations matters to deliver positive and amicable outcomes, including administering disciplinary action when necessary
Partner in policy & procedure development and implementation
Assist in the development and maintenance of the Company’s Affirmative Action plan in coordination with third-party service provider, including the administration of regulatory reporting compliance (EEO-1 report, Vets 100 report, ESG reporting, etc.)
Assist with all HR-related company audits, including annual retirement plan audit
Partner in planning company events to include job fairs, company meetings, annual holiday parties, and other employee appreciation events as needed
Partner with the corporation’s Director of Human Resources on the development and administration of all HR-related functions and activities; this includes performance management, compensation, training & development, organizational leadership development, talent assessment, and developing a culture aligned with the corporation’s core purpose and values
Minimum qualifications:
10+ years of experience working in Human Resources required
3+ years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a directly related field required
People management and recruiting experience required
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with ADP Workforce Now preferred
SHRM-CP, PHR or another HR-related certification preferred
Ideal competencies:
Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality of work
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain a strong focus on quality accuracy, and attention to detail
Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
Advanced knowledge of the English language – excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of Sabey employees
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Copilot, etc.
Working knowledge of ADP or a comparable HRIS
Must be committed to continuous learning and growing within the organization

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $46,394-$67,271 DOE
