We are seeking an Office Clerk who is professional, reliable, and detail-oriented and who enjoys working in a motivating, fast-paced environment! This is an entry-level, full-time, on-site, non-exempt position, Monday through Friday from 8:00 – 5:00.
This position reports to the Facilities Coordinator. Essential Functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
Position requires being on your feet most of the day
Ability to work in a high-demand, fast-paced environment and meet short deadlines
Professional interaction with others in-person and through email and phone, using critical thinking and listening skills
Proficient operation of office and computer equipment such as copiers, scanners, postage machine, computers
Ability to frequently move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, office supplies, etc.
Frequent moving about to various work areas on different floors while carrying items, using either stairs or elevator (elevator available)
Frequent use of 3 sets of stairs while carrying items for set up and tear down of roof deck events, primarily in the summer months (wheelchair lift available to transport heavy items)
Routinely lifting and moving items weighing up to 25 pounds
Frequent bending, stooping, reaching above and below waist level while stocking supplies in high and low cupboards, loading and unloading dishwasher, and performing other general facilities tasks, as assigned
Daily conference room set-ups
Cover front desk when needed
Follow established guidelines and procedures for receiving, documenting, distributing, and organizing of incoming/outgoing mail (i.e. parcel deliveries, messenger services, etc.)
Clean and maintain neatness and organization of all assigned areas
Offer administrative support across the organization as directed by supervisor
Order and stock supplies for the mailroom, kitchen, printers and copiers
Complete print/copy jobs by requested deadlines
Assist with set up, tear down and monitoring needs for roof deck events, meetings, conferences, and other events, as needed
