Administrative Assistant
We are looking for a part-time, dependable, administrative assistant to join our team. Our office is small with a casual atmosphere, friendly employees and an office dog named Heidi who will always be happy to see you walk in the door!
We prefer candidates who have some administrative support experience, but we are willing to train the right person.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
You will support the office manager with clerical duties that include:
Taking customer orders via phone and email
Writing up customer sales invoices
Calculating invoices accurately and distributing them to employees.
Inputting invoice data accurately and efficiently into our accounting software. Verify data accuracy and completeness.
Filing.
Various office tasks as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Great attention to detail and capable of managing multiple tasks.
Knowledge of basic computer systems. Quick Books’ familiarity a plus.
Proficient and accurate typist.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Professional demeanor.
Reliable transportation.
Summary
Our company hours and days of operation are 8:30-4:30, M-F with major holidays off. This position is part time, 20 hours weekly, Mon. – Wed. with expectations of flexibility to work additional hours when coverage is needed to cover vacations or time off. Compensation is $20 per hour. We are a small office and do require proof of COVID immunization.
