At CAYA (acronym for Come As You Are) Massage Therapy, we embrace inclusivity, comfort and healing. As the first point of contact for our clients, our receptionist plays a key role in creating this atmosphere.
Responsibilities
Customer service & reception:
Greet clients warmly, making them feel welcome and comfortable.
Appointment management:
Schedule and manage appointments via phone, email, or in person.
Client Communication:
Answer inquiries regarding services, pricing and availability.
Payment processing: Handle transactions, including cash and credit card payments and manage gift certificates.
Client Records:
Maintain confidential client information and assist in preparing intake forms.
Facility Management:
Keep the reception and waiting area tidy and stocked with any brochures or refreshments.
Collaboration:
Work with Massage Therapists to ensure a seamless experience for clients, including managing appointment transitions and preparing rooms if needed.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service or reception roles (wellness industry experience a plus)
Skills Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
familiarity with booking software
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Creativity and experience with canva/vistacreate or willing to learn for posting to social media
Friendly, family & community minded with professional demeanor
Positive mindset, willing to learn about wellness practices and comfortable engaging with a diverse clientele
