Associates in Behavior and Child Development (www.abcdseattle.com) is seeking a receptionist for 32-40 hours per week to work the front desk of the clinic, schedule clients, and assist with billing. We are a small group of psychologists and behavior analysts, located in north Seattle.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Respond to client inquiries via phone and email.
Welcome clients and check them into appointments.
Schedule patient appointments and assist in managing clinicians’ schedules through EHR (Valant) software.
Interface with insurance companies regarding referrals, prior authorizations and other insurance related issues.
Complete on-boarding of new clients: take client’s referral information, verify insurance as needed, schedule intake appointments, and track all referral and intake outcomes.
Maintain office condition and request repairs as needed.
Provide general support to the clinical staff.
Order office supplies and clinical forms.
Manage in-house and off-site medical file storage.
Salary: $20-23 hourly (depending on experience), plus health insurance and retirement benefits

Quickbooks (preferred)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational and system tracking skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to effectively manage time
Ability to engage client population
Ability to utilize EHR systems
Ability to handle multiple tasks and shift between responsibilities
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Associate's degree
Some administrative or customer service experience preferred
