SUMMARY Assist Property Manager for the managing of residential real estate properties for clients by performing the following duties personally or through supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES An Assistant Property Manager assists with the daily ins and outs of the Property Manager. To do so you will be required to answer phones, administer leases, discuss rental properties with owners and tenants, build relationships with owners and tenants, take the lead when given to think outside the box to solve problems as they arise, communicate efficiently with tenants and owners, process maintenance requests, prepare documents as directed by the Property Manager, maintain data base for accuracy, filing, process applications, correspondence is required on a daily basis, scheduling appointments, driving by properties to confirm compliance, maintaining key control and all other items requested to be completed by Property Manager.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as lead person for specific tasks as may from time to time be delegated.

QUALIFICATIONS Organizational skills and multitasking are required. Optimal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will be able to adapt quickly to all situations given to them. Candidate must type 30wpm minimum.

Basic knowledge of leases, move ins, move outs, tenant landlord law, Fair Housing, leasing, and inspections a plus but not required, Knowledge of Appfolio, or Yardi preferred but not required. Individuals that are highly motivated to learn are welcome to apply and appreciated.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Ability to type, knowledge of Word, Outlook, Excel and or related experience in this field recommended but not required.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical kills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio, percent and proration. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
