Position Overview:
As a Retail Associate at Gone, you’ll be an integral part of our team, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring our store offers a fun and engaging atmosphere. This role involves working with a wide range of items, from furniture to small decor pieces, and creatively arranging them to surprise and delight customers. You’ll also help build relationships with customers, offer personalized shopping assistance, and help create a seamless tech-to-store experience for those who find us online.
You will also help inventory, prepare, clean up, move, rearrange and load items in and out of the store and help customers load up. You must be physically able to lift and be on your feet most of the work hours.
You will also help, photograph and list items on multiple platforms, schedule, answer questions and help get customers to come in to the store.
Key Responsibilities:
Help prepare merchandise for the show room (including inventorying, moving, cleaning (light) and merchandising)
Photographing, writing descriptions and posting on e-commerce sights items we are selling
Handling customer inquiries and getting them into the store
Greet customers warmly and provide a welcoming, engaging atmosphere.
Assist customers in finding and purchasing unique items, providing insights on the backstory, quality, and pricing of items.
Implement creative and visually appealing in-store displays, blending larger furniture with smaller decor, electronics, and more.
Help manage customer appointments, ensuring a seamless transition from online interactions to in-store visits.
Maintain knowledge of the store’s inventory and pricing structure, including our special tiered pricing system.
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Assist with receiving and processing new inventory, keeping the store organized and well-stocked.
Provide product recommendations to customers based on their preferences and previous interactions with the brand.
Ensure the store maintains a clean, inviting, and well-organized appearance.

Qualifications:
Retail experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others. Friendly and was to talk to.
Ability to create engaging in-store displays that enhance the customer experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building rapport.
Tech-savvy with the ability to assist with online-to-store customer interactions.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in sustainability and an appreciation for pre-loved items is a plus!
