We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to be a floater in our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for rotating throughout the warehouse where needed including receiving, shipping, picking, packing, unloading, storing and more, while ensuring a smooth process in the warehouse with other team members.
Duties:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Support picking, packing, storage, shipping and all warehouse departments
- Check contents against invoices, manifests, or orders
- Inspect goods for damage or discrepancies
- Accurately record received data using warehouse management systems
- Organize and store received items in designated areas
- Assist with inventory control tasks such as cycle counts and stock replenishment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Prior experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of order fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and shipping
- Familiarity with using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (e.g., AS400)
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for inventory purposes
- Proficiency in load/unload procedures and shipping/receiving operations
