Due to growth, YWCA Seattle | King | Snohomish, one of the largest nonprofits in the region, focused on the needs of women, girls, and families in the community, is searching for a for Maintenance Technicians to join their team. Openings are available in the Downtown Seattle and Bellevue/Issaquah/Redmond area.

Minimum Requirements:

2-3 yrs. experience of HANDS-ON facility maintenance/building trades with a focus on painting and drywall

Basic computer skills that can operate under work order Apps

Team player that can work effectively and diplomatically with site personnel and supervisors

Working knowledge of building and mechanical systems

Knowledge and experience working with a variety of power and hand tools

Possess the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems

Verbal and written communication skills

Basic understanding of carpentry, cabinetry, painting, and drywall

Valid Washington State driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance required

Experience working with communities of color and people from different cultures other than your own and demonstrate an understanding of the intersection of racism and poverty

In this role, as a Maintenance Technician, you will manage all the general maintenance. The position can also include building upkeep and cosmetic appearance of the facility including, event set ups, basic repairs, and general work orders.
