SUMMARY
Responsible for providing customer service and clerical support to assist Producers and service team in supporting existing accounts and soliciting new business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Set-up prospect and customer files; set-up and process dead files; conduct miscellaneous filing;
Answers telephone and routes calls to others; operates fax machines, scanners, printers and copiers;
Assists service team with assembly of marketing materials, proposals and presentations for prospects and customers;
Inputs prospect and customer data into applications;
Provides word processing assistance as required;
Maintains inventory and coordinates ordering of all commonly used office supplies;
May conduct agency billing and process check requests;
Complies with agency management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information);
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Up to 2 years related work experience
SKILLS
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Good problem solving and time management skills
Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Ability to prioritize work for multiple projects and deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The position will support the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent, reliable healthcare by following the core values of Providence Medical Group - justice, excellence, dignity, integrity, and compassion. Medical Assistants work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed and assist in providing basic patient care to assigned patients. This role is responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. Medical Assistants are expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.

This is a Part Time role.
HOME CLINIC: Open positions are located at various clinics across the Spokane Metro Area (including Spokane: Downtown, North, & South; Liberty Lake; and Spokane Valley). We will discuss current open positions and your preferences during the interview.

Taking vital signs like pulse and blood pressure
Updating medications, allergies and other information in patient\'s medical records
Performing some medical procedures, specimen collection and lab testing

Associate Medical Assistant
Required qualifications:
Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
Associate Medical Assistant Salary Range, NE Washington: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07
Most candidates can except a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.
Medical Assistant Registered:
Required Qualifications:
Washington Medical Assistant Registration within 60 days of hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
6 months of healthcare experience.
6 months of Medical Assistant experience.
Medical Assistant Registered, Salary Range: Min: $17.06, Max: $26.07
Most candidates can except a starting pay of $20.91/hr or higher depending on experience.
Medical Assistant
Required qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire.
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
6 months Healthcare experience
6 months Medical Assistant experience
Medical Assistant Salary Range, Oregon: Min: $18.50, Max: $28.27
Most candidates can except a starting pay of $22.19/hr or higher depending on experience.
