Specific projects may include Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions readiness assessments, ESG process improvement, ESG policy and procedure development, ESG internal audits, ESG regulatory compliance support, and ESG strategic planning.Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills – Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.Responsibilities:

Serve as an ESG subject matter expert (SME) for the Business Consulting Services team, leading client engagements in areas such as: Carbon Accounting;ESG Regulatory Compliance, and ESG Reporting Frameworks & Pledges

Develop and deliver guidance, training, status reports, engagement deliverables, and communications to clients and leadershipSupervise staff in client engagement activities

Support strategic initiatives and special projects, including research and regulatory requirements and marketing material preparation

Lead project startup activities, including work plans, budgets, and schedules, and lead kickoff meetings

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience

Minimum five years of recent experience either in sustainability/ ESG consulting, in an internal corporate ESG/sustainability role or as an Audit/Internal Audit with ESG/sustainability experience

Minimum five years of recent experience with ESG Reporting Frameworks & Pledges (IFRS, GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and SBTi)

Experience with ESG regulations (SEC Climate Disclosure, California’s SB 253, SB 261, CSRD, etc.) Advanced experience withCarbon Accounting (GHG Protocol – Scopes 1 – 3)

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or FSA (Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting Credential Holder) preferred

Experience in performance auditing, program evaluation, policy analysis, and/or substantive qualitative and/or quantitative analysis

Experience with developing and providing training and best practices to stakeholders

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Critical thinker and creative problem -solver with effective time management, organizational, and project management skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently to prioritize work, establish goals and produce quality works

Ability to travel as needed, approximately 30%
