Adjunct Instructor - Dance
West Virginia University Institute of Technology (WVU Tech), part of the WVU system of campuses, is seeking innovative, energetic, & dynamic adjunct faculty professionals to teach dance. This is an opportunity to join a nationally ranked educational institution as it has expanded its reach and transitioned to a new home in Beckley, WV. This position will be responsible for teaching one or more dance courses such as Introduction to Dance (DANC 170).Qualifications
Master's degree in Fine Arts, Education with a concentration in Dance/Movement, or a related field or Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Education with a concentration in Dance/Movement or a related field and minimum of 5 years full-time professional work and/or teaching experience in dance/movement is required.
Commitment to teaching excellence, responsiveness to student needs, and good communication skills are essential.
Salary is established on a per-course basis. All positions are part-time and not benefits-eligible. Review of applications will begin immediately with a position effective date of August 2024.
