Job Title: Carpentry Foreman & Concrete Foreman
Location: Madison, WI and surrounding areas - De Forest, WI - Waunakee, WI (within 50 miles)
Pay: $36–$42/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–4:00 PM | 45+ hours/week

Position Overview:
As a Foreman (Carpentry or Concrete), you will lead skilled crews of 3–10 workers on diverse commercial projects. You will be the go-to expert on-site, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. This role combines technical expertise with strong leadership, mentoring, and coordination across trades.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and supervise your crew through daily tasks:
Carpentry: framing, window/door installation, flooring, trim, and hardware
Concrete: pouring, forming, finishing, curing, and site preparation
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specs accurately to plan and execute work
Train, mentor, and motivate team members to boost skills, productivity, and safety awareness
Coordinate closely with superintendents, project managers, and other trades to keep workflows smooth and deadlines met
Ensure all tools, equipment, and materials are ready, maintained, and used properly
Conduct daily safety meetings, perform regular site inspections, and enforce strict adherence to safety standards
Inspect completed work for quality control and code compliance
Maintain clear, accurate daily reports, timesheets, and project documentation
Drive company vehicles when approved (valid driver’s license required)
Perform additional duties as needed to contribute to project and team success
What We’re Looking For:
5–7 years of hands-on experience in carpentry or concrete work, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or foreman role
Deep knowledge of industry best practices, materials, tools, and construction safety
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documents and blueprints
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement
Valid driver’s license
OSHA 30, ACI Certification, First Aid/CPR certifications are a plus but not mandatory
Own basic hand tools related to your trade
Willing and able to work 45+ hours per week
