Superior Skilled Trades has an immediate need for experienced Concrete Finishers for commercial projects in Madison, WI and surrounding areas within 40 miles. These are temp-to-hire positions offering long term career opportunities, if you can commute between jobsites.
Pay: $28 – $35 per hour (paid weekly)
Duration: Temp-to-hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Overtime and weekends as needed)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Place, finish, and cure concrete for slabs, floors, and other flatwork
Operate walk-behind power trowels with precision
Perform jointing, broom finishing, edging, and bull floating
Assist in setting forms, pouring concrete, and raking as needed
Ensure high-quality, level, and properly textured concrete surfaces
Follow construction drawings, plans, and site specifications
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Collaborate with the crew to complete work on time and to spec
Requirements:
Minimum 4-5 years of concrete finishing experience
At least 2 years operating walk-behind power trowels
Strong skills in brooming, edging, jointing, and use of bull floating
Experience with commercial construction projects
Must be able to assist with form setting, pouring, and raking when needed
Must have reliable transportation and your own basic tools
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Job requires proper use of PPE: work boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
