JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Description: Join the MCW family, where our

and make a lasting impact with MCW. As a Director of Development-Planned

Giving, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying,

cultivating, soliciting and stewarding major gift prospects. Works

closely with faculty, community leaders, senior administrators and

volunteers, the Director secures leadership commitments at the

$100,000+ level in support of research, education and patient care

initiatives supporting Froedtert Hospital, Froedtert Hospital Foundation

and the Medical College of Wisconsin programs. The Director will

identify, cultivate and steward planned giving prospects with an

increased focus on blended gifts (cash and planned gifts). The Director

will be externally focused on leadership and major gift planned giving

prospects by designing, implementing and executing a program to acquire

deferred giving support for MCW/FHF's needs with emphasis on

cultivation and solicitation strategies. The Director will also partner

with and act as a resource and guide to the other fundraising

professionals to secure appropriate planned gift and deferred give

opportunities, as part of MCW/FH's larger fundraising efforts. The

Director serves as an expert in planned gifts to members of MCW/FHF's

fundraising staff in their gift discussions with potential donors,

working with planned giving staff to manage the administration of all

active estates and other testamentary gifts, including communications

with attorneys, fiduciaries, and other advisers. The Director will

consistently train MCW/FHF's fundraisers on relevant planned giving

topics. The Director will understand technical aspects of planned giving

vehicles and the relevant tax and estate consequences of these vehicles

and how they can be used to enhance MCW/FHF's fundraising efforts. The

Director will manage processing of stock gifts, facilitation of life

insurance premiums and gifts, bequests, planned and life income gifts,

in conjunction with the Development Operations team. Responsibilities

Purpose Under the broadest span of control and in partnership with the Associate Director of Administration, oversee and manage large-scale programs within the MCW Cancer Center (MCWCC). This role includes responsibility for the overall functioning and integration of Community Outreach and Engagement (COE), Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (EDIB), Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC), Research Development Office (RDO), Shared Resources, and Research Program teams. Provide guidance to Program Directors, Program Managers, and Program Coordinators to ensure the fulfillment of strategic goals as outlined in the Cancer Center Support Grant (CCSG) and the MCWCC Strategic Plan. Primary Functions Oversee all operational aspects of MCWCC and serve as the secondary administrative leader supporting the Associate Director of Administration. Guide leadership of NCI-designation CCSG application and submission processes. Coordinate with the Cancer Center Director and Associate Director to ensure grant milestones and deadlines are achieved, monitoring compliance and reporting progress.
